          춤추며 돌아온 바다

   

            2.

지난 2001년 가을내내 인문은 Lau의 춤에 매혹되고부터 그녀의

춤이 곧 풀라​멩코 였었다. 그는 그해 가을 내내 미국의 포틀란드에

머물며 아래의 싯적 표현의 글처럼 그녀와 샘솟는 영감의 이메일을

자주 주고 받았다. ​

아래는 내 손아귀에서 거의 빠져나나고 있는,

여전히 살아있는 영감의 도마뱀 꼬리 입니다.

Hi, Lau!
The tail, still alive ,of a salamander of inspiration

almost slipping  out of my grasp is below:

  'Willamette river at sunset'

Along the Willamette river
through under Steel Bridge,
under Morrison Bridge,
and Hothorne Bridge
at sunset

I walk and walk
side by side
with the streaming
of the river
the river of the mind
turning red into dark grey.

And my eyes follows a mirage
on the river-surface
of a dancing figure
holding a lamp on
in her elegant zapateado

more remote
Didn't you advise this one day
on the opposite bank
by Hothorne Bridge
to a lady painter painting Portland downtown scene.

more abstract
more remote
art is the more solitary,the more living. 

Put your landscape,
Garcia Lorca,
flamenco,
and Lau
on the more abstract space
on the more solitary silence
in order for them to be crystalized into dew.
They are now
too closer before your eyes.

The mirage goes on saying to me
something like that
on the river
at sun set
running deep and quiet
turning red into dark grey.
