제 1 부

마음의 동굴에서는,

고통에 리듬의 물결이 일어나고

슬픔이 녹아 노래가 되는 곳에서는,

열정이 팽팽히 당겨진 자신의 줄을 타고 진동하는 곳에서는,

우리는 모두 똑 같다.

우리가 가장 외로운 곳, 그 곳에서는

진실로 외롭지 않다,만약 우리의 마음 깊은 곳이 제대로 표현되어

그 소리가 들린다면!

​마음의 동굴로부터 터져나오는 외침은 너무나 놀랍고,

그 소리는 우리 모두에게 다 보편적인 것이므로 ,

그 때 우리의 외로움은 사그라질 것이고,

그러면 종족이나 민족성에 의해 , 경험이나 역사로 인해

우리 자신들이 서로 갈라지는 일은 절대로 일어나지 않을 것이다.

우리는 이를 잘 안다.
