Re Farewell project:

제 1장은 초고가 완성된 A Farewell Ritual로 천주산의 oak tree앞에서의

대금산조와 노인의 독백.

2장은 수우섬?으로 하여

판소리의 진도 아리랑 소리와 노인의 고별사 낭송으로 하여금'

한낮 비늘 바다의 침묵을 깨뜨리게 그린다.

박 아무개와 나누는 옛 구강의 inner/outer 풍경이 그 뒤를 잇고...

제 3장은 ?로?

창동 아고라 광장을 무대로,

거리의 기타리스트의 독주,traumerei? 아니면 ?

피카소의 표현주의적 인물화 기타치는 노인을 연상케하는 장면으로?

그 기타리스트와 만남의 순간과

그의 매혹적인 기타소리?

그 그림에 대한 ㅣ비평의 글 옮겨놓을 것.

제 4장은

The Voice of Van Gogh로?(Landscape into art페이지 111)

Devotion to the facts will always give the pleasures of recognition;

adherence to the rules of design, the pleasures of order and certainty.

Bad expressionist painting is merely embrassing . But we should not therfore

avert our eyes ,in an agony of good taste, from the value of this style at the present time.

In an age of violence and hysteria, an age in which standards and traditions are being

consciously destroyed ,an age , above all, in which we have lost all confidence

in the natural order, this may be the only possible means by which

the individual human soul can assert its consciousness.

그 특징- the Catherine-wheel convolutions of Van Gogh are further out of control

than anything in El Greco and are in fact painfully similar to the paintings of

actual madmen... The assault they make on our feeling is so violent

that people who are not normally moved recognize that something unusual is going on.

제5장은

'In this morning'을 소제목으로 하여

첫 글의 시작을 이렇게::

​

점점 가까이 다가오는 '1984'의 사회,

'자유'라는 말이 생소해질 그 사회 속에서

여전히 나는 시정어린 술잔나눔의 우정을 논하고

노년기의 건강을 챙긴다.

​

소리없이 다가오는

이 낯선 세상 앞에서

나는 무심한 마음으로.

입맛 잃지않으려는 알뜰한 마음으로.

​

이건 정말 두렵고 해괴한 일이다.

이거야 말로 미친 일이다!

뒤늦은 이런 깨달음으로

오늘 아침엔 자리에서 일어나지 못한다.
